Welcome Principal Dr. Mark C. DeMareo!

Dear St. Philip Neri Parishioners and Families,

I hope all of you are having an enjoyable summer.

I am pleased to share some exciting news with you. After a thorough search process, our Principal Search Committee has recommended and selected Dr. Mark C. DeMareo as the next principal of St. Philip Neri School. Dr. DeMareo will officially begin his ministry as principal on August 1, 2026.

Dr. DeMareo brings more than 40 years of educational experience to our school community. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and superintendent at both elementary and secondary levels. His experience spans Catholic schools, public schools, and international schools, providing him with a broad perspective on education and leadership.

What impressed the search committee most was Dr. DeMareo's deep love for his Catholic faith and his strong commitment to Catholic education. He is passionate about helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. He firmly believes in fostering strong relationships and maintaining open communication with faculty, staff, students, and parents.

I believe Dr. DeMareo will help us continue to strengthen the rich traditions of St. Philip Neri School, preserve and deepen our Catholic identity, and build upon our strong academic foundation. He has a warm personality, a good sense of humor, and values being present and accessible to faculty, students, and families. He expressed great enthusiasm about joining our school community.

We are confident that Dr. DeMareo will be an outstanding leader for St. Philip Neri School. Please join me in welcoming him to our parish and school family. Most importantly, let us pray that God will bless and guide him as he begins this new ministry among us on August 1.
